Welcome to Bacchus & Barley, Walla Walla’s premier transportation service!

After twenty years of working in the Seattle area hospitality industry, my wife, Nancy, and I realized our dream of moving to Walla Walla where we could enjoy a slower pace of life, world class golfing, and unparalleled wine and micro-brews set against the backdrop of a picturesque small town.

A quick word in your ear about Uber...

Uber is a globally recognized smartphone application that connects drivers with people who need a ride. It is wildly popular in urban areas. While Walla Walla has a small, recently emerging fleet of Uber drivers, they're still not as readily available as elsewhere - just something to keep in mind when planning your event at Red Star Barn.

The Touring Co.

We started The Touring Company in 2018, after working at our family’s winery for many years.

Ali grew up in the Bay Area, and moved to Walla Walla—where her father was born—when he started Dumas Station winery here in 2003.

Ryan has a degree in Enology & Viticulture (i.e. winemaking and grape growing), and would love to answer any of your geeky wine questions. (He answers regular wine questions too—they don’t have to be nerdy.)

When they aren’t wine touring, you may find Ali or Ryan spending time at a nearby playground with their young daughter, on a hike in the local Blue Mountains, planning their next travel adventure, or fixing up their old sailboat.
